While the subspecialty of cardio-obstetrics continues to grow in the U.S, there is a gap in education for general cardiovascular fellows and maternal fetal medicine (MFM) fellows, as highlighted in a 2023 JACC paper titled, “Cardiovascular Fellowship Training in Cardio-Obstetrics.”
The Cardio-Obstetrics Fundamentals for Fellows program provides fundamental education in cardio-obstetrics (level I) to general cardiovascular fellows and MFM fellows, available at no cost to all program directors and trainees in both disciplines. This eight-module program includes didactics, as well as case-based and interactive content, with topics presented by a diverse speaker pool of national experts. This program is supported by The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
This program is designed for general cardiovascular fellows and MFM fellows.
